WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) - Sometimes, drive through service isn’t what it’s supposed to be. An 81-year-old man crashed his car through a large plate glass window at Associated Bank in Wisconsin Rapids Sunday afternoon. This happened at 12:15 p.m.
The bank was open for business, and nobody was injured. The bank employee whose desk is just inside the window was on vacation.
Investigators say the man stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake as he was parking his car.
