TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAU) - Authorities have identified the Milwaukee County fisherman that died Sunday morning while fishing near Tomahawk. He was 51-year-old Michael A. Kontowicz of Glendale, WI.
Another person found Kontowicz’ body in Smith Lake just north of Tomahawk at 8:55 a.m. He was located near an unoccupied boat. He did not have a life jacket.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Lincoln County deputies and the Department of Natural Resources are investigating the death.
