SCHOFIELD, Wis (WSAU) There was a two-car crash on Grand Avenue in Schofield yesterday afternoon. Everest Metro police say the driver of a southbound SUV crossed the center line and hit a car in the northbound lanes.
A passenger in the SUV and the driver of the car were hospitalized. Their injuries are not life threatening. No names have been released.
Police say alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash. They believe the SUV driver dozed-off behind the wheel. The accident remains under investigation.
