MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) - A 39-year-old Tomahawk woman is in the Lincoln County Jail after she was arrested Thursday as a part of a multi county burglary investigation. 39-year-old Michell M. Goersch was taken into custody, and had a bond hearing Friday in Lincoln County Court. She was released on a $5,000 signature bond and will try to get an attorney through the public defender’s office.

Deputies from Lincoln County and Oneida County noticed a pattern of burglaries in the northwest section of Lincoln County and the southern part of Oneida County last week. Investigators found Goersch had recently pawned numerous items that were stolen in burglaries during this past week in Lincoln County and Langlade County.

Goersch faces four counts of burglary, criminal damage to property and theft.

Lincoln County Deputies expect additional charges as do Deputies in Langlade and Oneida Counties.
