WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- Today is the start of the Spring Semester at Northcentral Technical College and school officials are getting ready for students to arrive.
Student development director Shawn Sullivan says they want to be sure students are happy to return. "When students come back, they can look forward to a warm welcome from faculty and staff, they can stop into student life and get engaged, we've got some giveaway items for them. We just want to do whatever we can to make today as warm and meaningful as possible for them."
Sullivan says they'll be ready to help students this morning. "Whether it be helping them find their classes, get connected to their text books, whatever we can do to help them we want to do." Officials will also be on hand to help students sign up for classes and explore some late start options for the semester.
Despite being a technical college, Sullivan says they strive to offer the same sorts of things for students you'd find at a traditional school. "We've have leadership activities, we have social activities, we provide a number of entertainment options, we have clubs, we have student government, we really have anything that a student could be looking for right here at NTC."
