NORWOOD, Wis (WSAU) At least 20 calves have died in a barn fire in Langlade County. It was first reported around 7pm at a farm off Fernwood Road in the Town of Norwood. The exact number of cows lost hasn't been determined yet. Firefighters were on the scene for most of the night.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the farm's milking parlor. Some nearby structures were also saved,
The fire started near a light pole, and is due to an electrical problem.
No people were injured.
