MERRILL, WI (WSAU) - A man has been arrested after a Friday night dispute near Merrill, that lead to a manhunt. Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and Merrill police were called to a Tesch Road home in the Town of Harding just before 6:00 p.m. The woman there told police that the man she was arguing with went into the nearby woods armed with a .22 rifle.
Several law enforcement agencies searched, but came up empty. 33-year-old Steven Wrzesinski was arrested Saturday morning on an unrelated warrant. Additional charges are being considered due to the Friday evening incident.
