WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - A 25 year old Wausau man is under arrest and in custody following a shooting in Wausau this weekend.

Carl Follie is charged with 2 counts of recklessly endangering safety, 2 counts of negligent handling of a firearm, and multiple counts of bail jumping. Police say Follie fired a weapon at around 3:00 a.m. Saturday near Short Street and Third Street. Police confirm finding bullets embedded in the walls of a house. Nobody was injured in the shooting. Follie reportedly turned himself in to police this morning.

In a criminal complaint filed with the court, police say Follie told them he was afraid for his life after getting into an argument with several men at the 6th Street Kwik Trip. They reportedly followed him and his girlfriend home, so he fired 'warning shots' at them to make them run away. "Those guys belong in a grave." He stated they were bad guys and thought they were going to hurt him if he didn't do anything.

Follie is in jail, unable to post a 25-thousand dollar cash bond. He'll be back in court for a preliminary hearing April 1st.
