ABBOTSFORD, Wis. (WSAU) -- Police are adding more charges against a former Abbotsford teacher charged with sexual contact with students.
A bench warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Andy Follen. Court documents Follen was making contact with one of the victims in the case despite having a court order not to do so. Follen allegedly texted the victim and instructed her to sign up for an online game with a messaging program. Through that program, Follen said he was going to deny some of the charges against him and that he wanted her to help him out.
Two counts of felony bail jumping and a count of intimidating a victim have been filed in Clark County court. He's already charged with five counts of sexually assaulting a student. He was arrested in February, a few days after resigning from the Abbotsford School District. Prosecutors say one of the victims - a volleyball player at Abbotsford High School - claims she had sex with Follen in his classroom on a Saturday during a basketball tournament.
He could face six years in prison for each count. A court hearing on the new charges is scheduled today for 3:45
