TOWN OF RICHMOND, Wis. (WSAU) -- We now know the names of two people who died in a crash in the Town of Richmond Tuesday morning.
73 year old Dennis Schmendt and 71 year old Sally Schmendt of Marion died on Tuesday after their westbound vehicle crossed over the the median of Highway 29 and rolled over into the eastbound shoulder. Dennis was ejected from the vehicle and later died of his injuries. Sally was found inside already deceased at the scene.
Lanes on Highway 29 were shut down for a short while during the preliminary investigation at the scene, but more information will be released when a full investigation is completed.
