ABBOTSFORD, Wis. (WSAU) -- More road construction starts Monday on Highway 29.
Workers will begin improvements on bridges over Porky Creek near Abbotsford and the Big Eau Pleine River near Marathon City. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction while the concrete decks and approaches are repaired. There will also be new guardrails and signage as part of the improvements.
The work will continue until early September. State and federal funds will pay the $640,000 cost of the repairs.
