
ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WSAU) -- Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that happened over the weekend at a Rothschild tavern.
Initial reports from Rothschild Police Chief Jeremy Hunt say a 25-year-old man was shot at P.J.’s Log Jam at about 2:11 a.m. Sunday. Hunt says there was a fight involving several people, but they’re not sure what started the fight or how many people were involved.
The gunshot victim is was initially taken to St. Claire’s Hospital in Weston, but later transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for further treatment. Hunt has not released the victim’s name or medical condition
Investigators are asking the public to come forward if they have any information about the fight, the shooting, or any of the incidents that lead up to them.
