STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) -- Get ready for a night of food and more at Pfiffner Pioneer Park in Stevens Point with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Taste of the Town.

IT's the annual summer fundraiser for BBBS of Central Wisconsin. Director Sharon Jakusz says this year's chefs are ready to serve you. "We have more than 20 restaurants and a variety of vendors to provide taste samples of their culinary skills. We have wine and beer tasting."

There's also more going on that evening. Jacusz says they've expanded the silent auction to cover a wide variety of items including jewelry, grilling packages and more. They've also expanded the annual raffles. "Furniture and Appliancemart has donated a 51 inch television that we will be raffling off that evening. And then we have the champagne raffle, which has more than 35 prizes, and we only sell 100 tickets."

Tickets are still available today and tomorrow. Jacusz says you'll have to get them fast. "If you're out and about in Stevens Point, stop in at Skis Meat Market, Furniture and Appliancemart, or Lee Ayers Jewelers, as well as the Big Brothers Big Sisters office in the YMCA and we'd be glad to sell you tickets."
