CRANDON, Wis. (WSAU) -- A Forest County woman will spend nine months in jail for her part in a beating and torturing incident.

38-year-old April Jones entered into a plea deal Monday in Forest County Circuit Court. She pled guilty to misdemeanor battery, and had three felony counts dismissed.

Jones was one of four people accused of attacking a 40-year-old man inside of a home in Wabeno last March. The four accused the victim of inappropriately touching a child. The victim was left with broken ribs, a broken jaw, a frozen foot, and was nearly dead.

Three other people still face charges in this case. They are 22-year-old Justin Bey, 19-year-old Samantha McClellan, and 45-year-old Raymond Jones. Bey has entered an insanity plea. All three will be back in court in October.
