
RHINELANDER, Wis. (WXPR) -- A Rhinelander woman has been charged in federal court will illegal weapon possession.
Federal court officials say 28 year old Bonnie T. Wolff is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The indictment alleges that on August 17, she possessed a 5.56 mm rifle and ammunition.
If convicted, Wolff faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison. The charge against her is the result of an investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
