TOMAHAWK, WI (WSAU) - Social media tips led authorities to a man who fled to Michigan to avoid prosecution. 20-year-old Cody M. Koehne was picked up in Gwynn, Michigan after Lincoln County investigators posted his wanted status on Facebook.
The posting paid off with several calls that led authorities to Koehne’s location. He was wanted for dealing marijuana and designer drugs in the Tomahawk area about a year ago. He was released on a $500 cash bond at the time, but fled the state. A new bond hearing was held Thursday, where a Lincoln County judge set a $6,000 cash bond. Koehne remains in jail. He now faces additional bail jumping charges along with the drug charges.
