WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis (WSAU) Younkers will close its store in Wisconsin Rapids this summer.
Parent company Bon-Ton Stores says Younkers will close on July 31st, when its lease at the Rapids Mall expires. 45 people will lose their jobs.
Bon Ton acquired Younkers in 2006 when it purchased the Northern Department Store group. Since then they're closed several under-performing locations.
Mall managers say they're already looking for another retailer to move into the space.
