MERRILL, WI (WSAU) - The man charged in his wife's death in Merrill will make his first court appearance today.
Lincoln County chief deputy Nathan Walrath said Mark Bucki would appear at 2 pm today for the death of his wife Anita. The missing woman from Merrill was found close to Highway M near Faber Lane northeast of Medford Friday.
Walrath refused to answer specific questions in the case, saying that the investigation was still ongoing.
Anita Bucki was reported missing by her husband April 27th. Mark Bucki told officers that they had an argument and that she left without her car, purse, or cellphone.
