KRONENWETTER, Wis (WSAU) The Marathon County Humane Society and Kronenwetter police are looking for information about a dog that was pushed from a moving vehicle on I-39. The animal survived the incident, and will soon be up for adoption.
An eye-witness saw the dog get pushed out of an open door of a black GMC pick-up. The animal chased the truck for about a quarter-mile down the highway. Police are investigating, but onlookers were unable to get the truck's license plate.
The dog wasn't hurt during the incident. Humane Society staff say he's a little shy around people, but is otherwise in good condition.
