ADAMS, Wis. (WSAU) - A 28 year old Adams man has been arrested in the fatal shotgun shooting of his girlfriend early yesterday morning.
Coleman Dybul told authorities he fired a shotgun he kept near his bed after she startled him while he was sleeping. Twenty-seven year of Toni Voss was pronounced dead at the scene. Dybul was arrested by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of first-degree reckless homicide. He’s in jail awaiting formal charges to be filed.
A young child who was in the house when the shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. was unharmed and is said to be staying with a family member.
