SHAWANO, WI (WSAU) - A weekend stabbing incident in Shawano County left one person injured and another arrested.
A 25-year-old man is in custody, and investigators expect to forward their recommendation for charges to the District Attorney today. Sergeant Gordon Kowaleski says two men were arguing at a Town of Hutchins residence at about 11:00 p.m. Sunday evening. A third man was stabbed in the hand when he tried to intervene.
Deputies haven’t said what the men were arguing about. The injured man was treated and released at the hospital. The attacker’s name is being withheld until formal charges are filed.
