STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) - You can take part in the unveiling of the Deer Trustee Report tomorrow at UWSP or online through a web stream.
A set of action teams has been working out how to implement the Deer Report over the past several months, and report coordinator Eric Lobner says they're ready to present their summary to the public. “They’ve gone through 7 meetings now and are coming forward with their implementation proposals this Saturday." The teams have sorted through 62 recommendations in the report on how the 2014 deer season should be run.
The meeting starts tomorrow at the Dreyfus University Center at UW-Stevens Point at 10am. Lobner says they'll be streaming the meeting live on the internet for people to take part starting at 1pm. "You'll be able to click on that link, and you'll be able see the presentation and be able to ask questions right on the website."
Lobner says he's hopeful people will make the trip to the meeting in person as well. “Obviously can still attend in person if they like, but this is a chance for people to attend and see what's going on without having to travel so far."
