BOWLER, Wis. (WSAU) - A 27-year-old Bowler area man is in custody after a Saturday night drug bust on the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation in the Town of Bartelme. An undercover officer working with Stockbridge-Munsee Police and Shawano County Sheriff’s deputies arranged to receive a delivery of methamphetamines from the man at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
The man tried to flee on foot when confronted by officers, but he was apprehended within minutes. The name of the drug dealer will be released after he is formally charged. Right now, he’s in the Shawano County jail awaiting his first court appearance.
