SARATAGA, Wis (WSAU) A Saratoga family says their dog saved their lives during a house fire on Tuesday. The dog, Flash, began barking in the middle of the night and woke everyone up as smoke and flames filled the home.
There were five people inside when the fire started at 3:30am. Everyone made it out safely.
The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. It's a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
