
UPDATE: Wausau police say shooting suspect John M. Lewis has been taken into custody.
He surrendered without incident, and has been booked into the Marathon County Jail. He's being held on a warrant from the Department of Corrections.
Police say the weapon used in the shooting has not been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.

WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A manhunt is underway in Wausau after a shooting early Friday morning at the Sidetacked bar on the west side. Police say the shooting happened in the parking lot around 1:30am. The suspect and victim knew each other and got into an argument earlier in the night.
The suspect is identified as John M. Lewis. He's a 31-year-old African-American male. Police have released his mug shot, and are asking the public's help in locating him. It's believed he may be armed with a small-caliber handgun. Anyone with information should call 9-1-1 or Wausau Police at 715-261-5857.
The shooting vitctim was a 27-year-old male who was rushed to Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He underwent surgery for a gunshot wound to the stomach. Earlier this morning he was recovering in the hospital's intensive care unit. His name has not been released.
