
STATE COLLEGE, PA (WSAU) -- The Wisconsin Badgers Hockey team picked up their 20th win of the season Friday on the road at Penn State.
It was all Badgers early, as Wisconsin led 3-0 halfway through the third period. That’s when Penn State’s Casey Bailey scored on the power play making it 3-1. Penn State’s Taylor Holstrom then scored after the Nittany Lions pulled their goalie at the 19-minute mark, making it 3-2. Shortly after that, Wisconsin’s Mark Zengerle picked up the empty net goal making it 4-2.
The Badgers are now 20-9-2 overall, and 11-5-1 in the Big Ten with three road games to go in the regular season.

Meanwhile the womens hockey team lost at the WCHA Final Face-Off. North Dakota beat the Badgers 1-0. Alex Rigsby had 23 saves for Bucky. Wisconsin will find out their NCAA Tournament fate on Sunday at 5pm
