MILWAUKEE (WSAU-MetroSource) State Representative Bob Kulp went home to Stratford with a few fewer possessions after being in Milwaukee this weekend for the Republican Convention. Kulp's car was broken into, and he lost about $3,500 in photography equipment, his GPS, and a $1,200 laptop computer.
Kulp runs a roofing company in Stratford, and uses the equipment to do estimates and submit bids of jobs.
He tells WITI Fox 6 that leaving the items in plain view in the car was his mistake. He was parked in a lot near the Park East Hotel when the break-in happened. The thieves broke the side window of his car.
