MOSINEE, Wis (WSAU) A driver is hospitalized after hitting a bear on I-39 in Mosinee.
The crash happened around 4am near Maple Ridge Road.
Police reports say the northbound vehicle hit the bear, rolled over several times, and came to rest in the ditch. The driver was taken to Wausau-Aspirus Hospital. Their name and condition have not been released.
