UNDATED (WSAU) -- Motorists will be slowing down and using only one lane on several bridges starting Monday. Department of Transportation officials will be conducting routine bridge deck inspections.
There are three Highway 29 bridges in Marathon County, plus five Highway 51 and I-39 bridges in Marathon and Portage Counties being inspected. The Highway 34 Wisconsin River bridge at Knowlton and the Highway 54 bridge crossing I-39 in Plover will also be restricted during bridge inspections.
The inspections are expected to wrap up Thursday.
