WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- Last Friday’s ruling by Judge Barbara Crabb concerning Wisconsin’s gay marriage law has the area lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community excited. Several same-sex marriage celebrators will take part in Wausau’s 2nd Annual March for Equality on Saturday, June 21st.

The march begins in Marathon Park at one o’clock and ends at Wausau’s 400 Block, where activities will last until 4:00 p.m. At four o’clock, there will be a ceremony for all couples seeking to make a declaration of their love and commitment, whether that is a renewal of vows, proposal, or legal marriage.

An evening session at the 400 Block begins at 7:00 p.m.

Any questions, or requests to speak at the event can go to organizers Jen Krug and Shannon Thomas.  Their email address is: EventforEquality@gmail.com.
