MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) -- One of Marshfield’s busiest streets will have a section closed for about a week starting Monday.
North Central Avenue between Harrison and Ives streets is in the heart of the northern business district. One of the two lanes in each direction will be closed so that the Department of Public Works can install new water services.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and watch for workers in the construction zone.
North Central Avenue is also State Highway 97 in Marshfield, and truckers may wish to choose an alternate route between Marshfield’s north side and Highway 13 at Veteran’s Parkway.
