
RHINELANDER, Wis. (WSAU) -- Sunday’s stormy weather in the northwoods left several people without electricity.
Wisconsin Public Service crews were called out to several areas, with over 15-thousand customers knocked out by the storms. Several trees were blown into power lines.
There were scattered outages in the Schofield and Wausau areas, but far more to the north, where over 15-hundred in the Boulder Junction area, 34-hundred in Rhinelander, and 23-hundred in the Sayner area lost electricity. There were also several outages in the St. Germain, Eagle River, Tomahawk, Lac du Flambeau, and Arbor Vitae areas.
