RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) - You may remember the 4-year-old boy who was severely injured in a crash that killed his father on Wausau’s Thomas Street Bridge March 23rd. His name is Jordan Dixon, and he’s slowly getting better.
Young Jordan was in a car seat, but the impact of the crash broke the car seat and he was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield for emergency brain surgery.
Friends and family have put together a fundraiser for Jordan’s family. The event is at BoJo’s Sports Bar and Grill in Rib Mountain this Sunday starting at 2:00 p.m. 100% of proceeds will go to cover medical expenses and other expenses needed to help the family recover.
It’s been a tough month for the 4-year-old. Along with his crash injuries, he lost his father Michael in the same crash and his young grandmother the week before the crash.
