MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) -- A 39-year-old Merrill woman found out the hard way that she shouldn’t ignore the judge’s orders. Lincoln County deputies arrested her at the county fair Thursday evening for drinking alcohol. A deputy recognized her as someone ordered by the judge to abstain from drinking as a condition of her bond.
The woman admitted to drinking, but resisted officers attempts to take her into custody. That got her another night in the Lincoln County Jail for two counts of bail jumping and resisting an officer. She did post a $250.00 cash bond to get out again Friday.
Her name has not been released.
