GILMAN, Wisc (WSAU) A Gilman man will spend 14-months in prison and 28-months on extended release for threatening to kill a judge, a prosecutor, and a police detective. 23-year-old Patrick Statton was convicted in February, and was sentenced in Taylor County court yesterday.
The jail time will be added to a sentence he's already serving.
Statton made the threats after he was found guilty of burglary and theft in an earlier case.
When he was arrested in April explosives and bomb-making equipment were found in his home. He planned to detonate one of the devices at the Taylor County courthouse.
