WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce announced its small business of the year awards today..
The winners are:
- RMM Solutions, in the business-to-business category. They’re a technology firm that specializes in providing support services to small businesses.
- Young’s Pharmacy, in the consumer category. Young’s traces its roots back to the 1930s in the Wausau area, and filled more than 340,000 prescriptions last year as a local pharmacy in an increasingly competitive retail sector.
- The Wausau Boys & Girls Club, in the charity / non-profit category. They’ve expanded their services and locations for youth in the area in the last year.
The awards are handed out annually as part of small business week. The winners will be honored at the small business luncheon on Friday.
The annual Greater Wausau Area Small Business Expo is Thursday at the Patriot Center.
