PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU) - Wood County officials say a missing alzheimers patient has been found safe. 61-year-old Janet Webb went missing from the 46-hundred block of Lynn Hill Road in the Town of Port Edwards between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. She was found later in the evening, and is said to be in good condition. Exactly where she was found hasn’t been made public.
Webb was wearing Project Lifesaver bracelet, but it’s not working. A K-9 unit was called in to help find Webb, but it didn’t pick up her scent.
Webb is an Alzheimers patient, so she may have been confused about where she was.
