
MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) -- The search for Marshfield’s next Police Chief has been narrowed down to four finalists, two officers from the Marshfield P.D. and two “external” candidates. Randy Gershman is President of Marshfield’s Fire and Police Commission, and says a final choice will be made shortly after a full day of interviews on April 21st. The four finalists are Lt. Rick Gramza and Sgt. Patrick Zeps from the Marshfield P.D., along with Lt. Jeff Miller from Appleton and Douglas Reim, police chief of Westworth Village, Texas. Gershman says the finalists were selected from more than a dozen applicants from around the country.Current chief Gary Jepsen is set to retire in mid-May after more than 30 years on the Marshfield Police force
