WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The man accused in the death of a Minnesota man is being held on 1 million dollars bond.
26-year-old Kou Thao was charged today with first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse today in Marathon County court. He's accused in the death of 58 year old Tong Pau Hang.
A criminal complaint says police found parts of Hang's body in both Wausau and Milwaukee. A severed head was found in the trunk of a car stolen from Wausau in Milwaukee. Other body parts were found inside the home where Thao was arrested last week.
Police in Minneapolis and Wausau have been looking for Hang since he was reported missing April 8th.
Thao is scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 1st.
